Description:
This hazard communication training course will explain the nature of hazardous chemicals and how such chemicals may affect the human body. Additionally, participants will be presented with knowledge regarding different types of hazardous chemicals, as well as what is required on chemical product labels and safety data sheets (SDS). Specific industry terms covered throughout the course include the following: HazCom Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) Globally Harmonized System (GHS) Employee/Employer right to know Hazard classification HazCom program Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Precautionary statement Pictogram Signal word
