Description:
Portable Fire Extinguisher Awareness for All Industries online training is designed specifically to help minimize the risk of injuries and damage due to workplace fires and/or explosions. In order to train individuals how to put out fires, participants will learn the four elements that must be present at the same time in order for a workplace fire to exist. Participants can also expect to learn the classification of fires, how to use a portable extinguisher, and how to conduct maintenance and inspections. Specific course topics include the following: Portable fire extinguishers (PFE) PFE inspections and protocols Specific industry terms covered throughout the course include the following: P.A.S.S. method to discharge a PFE PFE Fire tetrahedron OSHA fire extinguisher training
