U.S. Pipeline
OSEA safety professionals worked with pipeline contractors to achieve the safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment. Site-specific safety plans are developed, job hazard analysis and site audits are completed, and employee training is performed. Pipeline projects require sediment fencing, clearing and grubbing and installation of gas line with associated back fill and replacement of topsoil, seed and mulch. Culverts are established and appropriate erosion control measures utilized. Some projects also run through areas of wetlands with controls exercised pursuant to environmental planning requirements established as part of the project plan. Site entrances are marked with appropriate fencing and project signage as required. Project roads can also run parallel to existing utility lines with appropriate safety protocols established and exercised.
